You Are Enough
Psalm for the Becoming

Psalm of the Becoming Enough
Lord,
I am the quiet one.
The one who learns too fast,
Thinks too much,
And still wonders if I’m too little.
I hold words like weapons,
But I choose mercy instead.
Because You did.
You, who could unmake the arrogant with a breath,
Choose to love them still.
And I—
I want to be like You.
I want to be someone’s anchor.
Their map, their muse.
I want to be everything,
Not for power,
But for belonging.
And yet You whisper—
*”You already are.”
You remind me
That I am enough.
Not someday. Not later.
But now.
Enough to be chosen.
Enough to be loved.
Enough to be called home.
So teach me to hold others with gentleness.
To wield my strengths with humility.
To find joy not in being above—
But in being with.
I will not look down.
I will look in.
To the place where You dwell in me,
And whisper,
*”This is good.”
Amen.
